Top #10: October 2015

Written by Jiny on .

There have been some awesome tamil releases the past few weeks. No doubts in that ;) This guy, Anirudh is definitely the maestro of this time’s cinematic scores, I’m really impressed <3

Now here’s my top 10 for this month, enjoy ;)

1. Thangamey – Naanum Rowdy Thaan. I guess this is currently on the repeat mode on many people’s playlists ;)

2. Veera Vinayaka – Vedalam. Yes, I love this one.

Kaadhale Kaadhale - Indru Netru Naalai. Love, love, love this one. And yes, Shankar sir is my fave singer ;)

4. Yennai Maatrum Kadhale – Naanum Rowdy Thaan. Love.

5. Varavaa Varavaa – Naanum Rowdy Thaan. True sh*t!! :P I know it's inspired from Jigirthanda, and he's done a pretty good job here ;)

6. Naanum Rowdy Thaan theme song. This one is awesome, and makes me happy ;)

7. Indru Netru Naalai theme song – Don’t ask my anything, I just love the way Shankar Mahadevan sings and the composition of this song. Especially the veena-part, and Hip Hop Thamizha has used the zarangi so beautifully too. OMG! And I know, we’ll all agree with the lyrics, right? ;)

8. iPhone 6 Nee Yendral – Indru Netru Naalai – still lovely.

9. Kannala Kannala – Thani Oruvan. This one was actually no. 1 on my last month’s top 10.

10. Kannamma Reprise – Ko 2. I know, some people may wonder, but I actually like this reprise version better than the “original” one ;)

Looking back: NAC 2015

First of all, sorry I haven’t posted anything the past weeks- been so busy ;)

I’ve wanted to write about my small trip to Bergen, but never got the time to do it, but now I’ve! :)

I was asked to go for an audiological conference that was arranged by GN ReSound and held in Bergen in Norway. GN ReSound has this yearly conference called Nordic Audiology College, that takes place in a Scandinavian country. This time it was in Norway, and they’ve chosen Bergen for this occasion. I was very excited, as this was the first time I was attending such conference, and was looking forward to learn more and meet others from other places.

So, on thr 23rd of September, I took the train to the CPH Airport were we all met, those travelling from Denmark. The 4 from GN ReSound were so nice, and everything was arranged so perfectly. We flew to Bergen Airport, were we met the others from the other countries, and we went to the Radisson Blu Hotel at Bryggen in Bergen.

Capture the beautiful things the eyes see

One of my newest gadgets, that I bought last month, is this beauty

Yaaa – a Canon EOS 750D :D

I actually had some trouble in deciding which cam to buy, of course I was sure about Canon, but not which model. My bro’s already got a 600D, which I was very happy to borrow. But I always felt like having one for myself. And you know what, I have been thinking about buying one the past 3-4 years, but it never happened. BUT!! Last month I suddenly decided to buy one, and luckily the Photo Care shop in Herning had some sale running, so many of the cams very sold to a lower price :D I first bought a Canon 100D as I’ve got some small fingers and because of the price, but just one hour later I returned it and bought 750D in stead.  I think 100D is good to start with, but not if you’ve already have been taking pictures with a 600D – you need something that is much smarter and better, so I therefore bought 750D, and I’m soooo happy about it.

I actually bought it some days before the temple festival, so I got to shoot many lovely pictures during the festival. All pictures on the temple’s Facebook page are actually shot on my cam :P haha!

Before starting using the cam, I took some test shots:

This one is from the temple. Love this one so much ;)

What do you think? :)

The pictures above a shot with either 18-55 or 55-200 lenses, but with different ISO settings ;)

Can’t wait to share more pictures with you guys ;)

Bye for now!

On the repeat mode: September 2015

There have been some lovely tamil releases the past few months – both lovely compositions and great movies. I recently watched the movie “Thani Oruvan” starring the handsome Jeyam Ravi and her hotness Nayanthara. I normally love all Jeyam Ravi movies; he’s a charming actor and knows exactly how much acting to put into his movies. What’s surprising is, that his brother, Raja Mohan, has directed this movie with original script – so not a remake!

I was very surprised while watching the movie. It has a very interesting script and all the actors have done a very good job. Watching Aravind Swamy as the “villain”, and watching Nayanthara in a more prominent role was indeed beautifully shown throughout the whole movie. Definitely worth watching with its good message. Do watch it ;)

So now, you’ll probably have known which song is nr. 1 in September 2015’s top 10 list. Let’s have a look :)
