New in: Pink Love

Written by Jiny on .

Hello lovelies ;)

This weekend has been full of fun and laughter – so much love around me! ^_^ I’ve enjoyed these moments so much, and I feel so blessed to be around so such beautiful people, and to celebrate them and see them happy is soooo satisfying ;)

Besides all this I got some small pretty gifts – some “covers” for my lovely iPhone in 3 different colours; pink/magenta, gold and pure glass-like one. I decided to put the pink one first, as I love this colour, and this one is very beautiful! Have a look!

Nice, isn’t it? :)

Next, I bought these lovely pinky earphones from Bang & Olufsen – YES!!

The sound? Sooooo lovely! Before I was using the Fidelios from Philips, and I felt that something was missing – the sound quality was not satisfying, so I decided to get some new ones. I know B&O are masters in sound, and the prize is somehow tolerable, so I therefore bought the H3 in pink, and is not disappointed at all! The sound is very clear, and the bass is much better than in the Fidelio.

You get them in a small package with extra domes, in 4 different sizes at all. The domes has to be fit in the ear perfectly, so the sound will not do any kind of leak - this will actually make the bass sound worse, so always keep the domes in the perfect size ;)

Moreover, the experience of listening to music with these from B&O is very good - the sound is very neat and clear, and I'm pretty much sure, that you can hear every single detail of a song. With a couple of Medium domes I almost get too much bass than the higher frequencies, so I guess I'm gonna use the small ones :) Of course it is nice when the sound is kind of "rounded", but the bass may not be an overkill to the music.

But all in all, I enjoy listening to music full of bass, but it also has to be crystal clear and be very neat. These earphone deliver the music beautifully, and I actually don't have any critics. I just love them :)

LifeLately: Holiday & Shopping

Written by Jiny on .

Hello guys :D

I know, many of us love to do some great shopping, especially when it’s cheap ;) You know what? Recently I had a smaller holiday, so my bestie and I went for shopping in Germany. Yes!! More correctly we went to Neumünster, a town 68km North of Hamburg. Neumünster is famous for its designer outlook part, and I have heard about this place before, but didn’t think much of it. Recently my student told me about her visit, and I immediately wanted to visit this place ;)

Luckily we had time for it, so we drove to this city and did some shopping. The weather was not that much good, but so what? We still had an awesome time together :P

Last week a friend and I went for shopping, and we later met with another friend for a small girls’ date, and went out for dinner. It was so good to spend some time together, I felt like it has been ages since we last did it. Of course time flies by, and we’re all busy with work, fitness and etc., but I always love to catch up with my friends and share good stuff. This time was very inspiring and funny too, as we, all 3 of us have fitness as our common interest. Sharing useful tips is something we really love, and of course, we talk about other things too ;)

As I told you, we went for shopping, and both my friend and I have been looking for some new sun glasses. I actually liked the club master design, and wanted to buy a pair of those. Luckily Thiele in Bruuns Galleri had some offers, so I found what I wanted and got 25% of discount :D Also my friend ordered a pair of these ;)

Here are some pictures of them. Nice, aren’t they? :)

Vegspiration: Oven baked veggie pasta

Written by Jiny on .

ovenbakedpasta2Hiii guys :)

I should’ve posted this recipe for ages ago, as I made this dish for my bestie who visited me some weeks ago. I haven’t really tried out oven baked pasta – I guess I tried it once while living in Odense (and it’s been more than 2 years since I moved!). This time I therefore tried with some other ingredients, to get some “more protein”, at it turned out very well. So here we go! ;)

[Sorry, the lighting was not perfect ;)]

Servings: 2

  • 200g pasta penne
  • 200g chopped tomatoes (those in packings)
  • 3 cloves, chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 200g kidney beans, drained
  • 100g corn
  • 1 snack pepper, cut into smaller pieces
  • ½ leek, cut crosswise
  • 2 tablespoons of crème fine, 8%
  • 100 – 125g mozzarella cheese

Vegspiration: Oven baked eggplant aka patlican güvec

guveccWhile trying experimenting with food, I recently came across veg style güvec, that is a Turkish dish, I got served in a Turkish restaurant recently. I love the dish so much, that I wanted to try it by myself. Eggplant/aubergine is actually something I hated for ages, I guess I started loving to eat this vegetable for about 4-5 years ago. Tamils normally make curry out of it, and this kind of dish can unfortunately be very oily too. So tasting the Turkish preparation of aubergine was a pleasant experience :)

Aubergines, let it be any kind [I’ve tasted both purple, white, mini etc.] are very healthy though. They are very nutritious, and contain several health benefits; including:
